Bozeman Film Festival

The Inaugural Bozeman Film Festival brings bold independent cinema to Montana from October 8–11, 2026. Across four days, new work from established and emerging filmmakers screens alongside panels, parties, and conversations that bring audiences and artists into the same room.
Presented by the Bozeman Film Society, the Festival builds on 48 years of bringing independent and arthouse film to our community, and on the audiences who have shown up for those stories, year after year.
Screenings unfold in three historic downtown venues: the Ellen Theatre, the Rialto, and the Armory Tune Up. Opening night fills the storied Baxter Hotel’s Grand Ballroom; the Encore After Party lights up the Rialto; and Yellowstone passholders gather between films at the AC Hotel’s VIP Lounge. The whole festival plays out in the heart of Bozeman, among Main Street’s cafés, galleries, and shops.
