Southwest Montana’s “Last Best Live Music Venue & Dance Hall,” Music Ranch Montana sponsors another spread of its popular ‘Country Dance Nights’ as its summer season comes to a close. Offering covered and outdoor seating for every show, the venue features the largest dance floor in the region and is the perfect place to take in acts true to the genre.
Enjoy a tribute to Roger Miller by his son and fellow musician Dean Miller on August 7th. The Nashville-based country artist is known for blending traditional country roots with a modern, groove-driven sound. A seasoned singer/songwriter in his own right, he’s built a career on sharp storytelling, soulful vocals, and a style that nods to his father’s wit and musical legacy while standing firmly in contemporary country.
Following on August 8th is a night with Nasville’s Ben Haggard. The skilled musician carries forward the legacy of traditional country music with his own distinctive voice and style. The son of legendary singer/songwriter Merle Haggard, Ben honors the Bakersfield sound while bringing fresh energy, heartfelt storytelling and authentic country roots to the stage.
“My Life,” a Billy Joel Tribute featuring the talents of Elton Lammie, is set for August 21st. The genre-diverse multi-instrumentalist brings with him a collection of the famed ‘Piano Man’ greatest hits including “Uptown Girl,” “We Didn’t Start the Fire,” “Big Shot” and of course, “Piano Man,” among many others. Experience the look-a-like, sound-a-like performance by North America’s premier Billy Joel tribute.

Check out the Cheyenne Dance Band on August 22nd. Visiting from the north, the terrific country dance band from Canada offers plenty of reasons to get up and move. Gather your friends, put on your dancing boots and enjoy a fantastic night of music.
Make a Jimmy Fortune with a lucrative night of smooth tunes on August 29th. He is a celebrated country and gospel vocalist best known for his years as the tenor voice of the legendary The Statler Brothers. With his smooth vocals and heartfelt songwriting, Fortune helped shape some of the group’s most memorable hits before launching a successful solo career rooted in traditional country, gospel and Americana.
Looking to September 4th, Kyle Shobe & the Walk ‘Em Boys take the stage. The band performs real-world country music influenced by dancehalls, rodeos, ranching and the Western way of life, all blended into an honest, hard-working country music sound. As an auctioneer, rodeo announcer and country music artist, Shobe’s list of occupations is relatively diverse, but all of them circle back to a microphone and his ability to motivate, inspire or otherwise persuade an audience.
