The summer season brings with it longer days and more opportunities to get outside and enjoy the sunny skies of Southwest Montana. But when dusk finally settles in, folks need a place to cool off and rehash their weekend adventures. Plan a weekend trip to Chico Hot Springs for a chance to soak the joints, feast on some delicious grub and enjoy live music in the Saloon. Here’s what’s coming up this month.
BlackWater Band deliver back-to-back shows on June 9th and 10th. The rock n’ roll variety group will have you off your feet and on the dance floor in no time, so take a swig of your preferred flavor and get that liquid motivation flowing.
On June 16th and 17th, check out Doublewide Dreams. The dynamic four-piece from Livingston provides an original, driving, melodic yet irreverent sound. Expect some good ole, homegrown Western Americana and rock. The band is fronted by the father-son duo of Kevin and Cleo Toll.
Get ready to hit the floor when Triggered take the stage June 23rd and 24th. The band performs an array of country and rock tunes. A morning soak will help ease the pain after a night up on your feet.
Late this month, stop into the Saloon for live entertainment courtesy of Clint Anderson & Montana Gazette June 30th and July 1st. The foursome is known for their brand of boot stompin’ old school country music.
Live Saloon music begins at 9pm. Chico Hot Springs is located in Pray, 20 miles south of Livingston. For more information and to make a reservation, visit www.chicohotsprings.com. •
