The Montana Raptor Conservation Center (MRCC) is hosting its annual Family Fun Day, Sunday, August 14th from 12-4pm. This family-friendly event is free and open to the public. Come see these powerful birds of prey up close and meet several of Montana’s native raptor species while learning more about their vital role in maintaining a healthy ecosystem. MRCC and its partners, including Montana Outdoor Science School (MOSS), Zoo Montana, and the Grizzly Wolf Discover Center, will have many kid-friendly, educational activities on hand. Dissect owl pellets, build a bird house, tour MRCC’s rehab facility, take a raptor-themed selfie, get your face painted, enjoy Italian ices and other treats, and win fantastic prizes in the Family Fun Day Raffle! The event will be held at the Montana Raptor Conservation Center, 161 Bent Wing Road. Admission and educational activities are free. Donations are welcome.
