On May 3rd and 4th, the Bozeman Area Community Foundation will host our fourth annual Give Big Gallatin Valley! In just three years, our community has raised over $1,360,000 for 165 nonprofits in Gallatin County. This year, our goal is to inspire 4,000 donors to give $1,000,000 for 193 local nonprofits. Can we do it?
What is Give Big Gallatin Valley?
Give Big is a 24-hour live and online celebration of giving. Our giving website makes it easy, secure and fun to give, and donors can designate funds to one or more organizations doing essential work in the Gallatin Valley. On May 3rd and 4th from 6pm – 6pm, donations can be made online at www.GiveBigGV.org.
On May 3rd and 4th from 6pm – 6pm, you can give big in 3 easy ways:
1. Give online: Go to www.givebiggv.org and find a cause you care about and give big!
2. Find a Donor Lounge!: Go to one of many Donor Lounges around our community, give online and get a free incentive for giving! A win-win!
3. Give a gift of check: On Friday, May 4th only,go to our Check Donation Station from 10am – 4pm at First Interstate Bank in Bozeman at the Main St. branch (202 W. Main St.) to donate via check.
Stop by a Donor Lounge
Many local businesses are opening their doors to host Donor Lounges to help make your giving easy and fun! These Lounges will have volunteers with iPads manning tables throughout the day and night to help you give easily and securely. For example, on Thursday, May 3rd we will kick off Give Big at The Bozeman Taproom from 5:30pm – 7:30pm and the first 50 donors gets a free beer! There will also be drink specials and donors who give over $100 will receive a Give Big t-shirt. On Friday, May 4th from 1am – 1pm, you will get a free glass of champagne at Heyday just for giving at their Lounge. On Friday, May 4th, we will wrap up with a Finale Celebration at The Baxter in Bozeman with music, drinks and laughter! People often think that philanthropy is for the Bill Gates and Warren Buffets of the world. The truth is, everyone can be a philanthropist. No gift is too small. And, the beauty of Give Big is that together, our gifts will combine for a big impact. The more people participate, the more energy – and more collective impact – we will create! Our goal for Give Big is simple – inspire neighbors to come together, show their pride in their community, and contribute to support the life-changing work of local nonprofit organizations!
