Virtual series focuses on renewable energy in Montana
Though its annual Clean Energy Fair has been postponed to August 2021, the Montana Renewable Energy Association is presenting an online Summer Series to ensure the work continues. These virtual lunchtime series feature installers, advocates and experts discussing fun and interesting topics in renewable energy.
Join MREA for engaging presentations and Q&A sessions on Montana’s energy resources and policies, as well as virtual tours of solar PV, hydro, and battery systems. Plus, hear from special guests on how renewable energy is pairing up with transportation, agriculture, and even Montana’s two National Parks – Glacier and Yellowstone!
Presentations begin at 12:30pm every Thursday through September 3rd. Events are FREE to the public. To take part, RSVP on Facebook or visit www.montanarenewables.org/summerseries for additional information.
MREA works to expand the use of renewable energy in Montana, affect public policy in favor of renewable energy, and educate and inform the residents of its benefits and uses. Comprised of individuals, families and local business owners, the group’s focus is on-site and community-scale renewable energy such as solar electricity, solar hot water and small wind generation. •
