Outdoor films featuring adventurous women screen in Bozeman
Presented by HydroFlask and Helinox, the Women’s Adventure Film Tour comes to Bozeman as part of its second North American outing. Created by Australia-based Adventure Entertainment, the local screenings will be held at the Emerson Center for the Arts & Culture on Tuesday, March 3rd. Films screen at 7pm.
This short film festival is a celebration of the inspiring women around us who are doing extraordinary things in the name of adventure. This year’s lineup features an all-star cast of global athletes, business women, mothers and storytellers, including cliff diver Rhiannan Iffland, climber/yoga instructor Kira Brazinski, long distance hiker Jennifer Pharr-Davis, and many other women in snow sports, mountaineering and mountain biking.
Each tour stop features 5–7 shorts tallying 100–110 minutes. Films are suitable for the entire family. Advance tickets are $18 and available at www.eventbrite.com (search Women’s Adventure Film Tour”). This year’s tour benefits Naretoi, a non-profit supporting girls’ education, women’s empowerment, local economic efforts and cultural exchange in Maasailand, Kenya.
