The Livingston Film Series is thrilled to announce a special free presentation and Q&A with renowned Film Casting Director Tina Buckingham at 7pm on Thursday, September 12th, in the Dulcie Theatre at the Shane Lalani Center for the Arts.
Tina Buckingham has been a pivotal figure behind the scenes of many iconic films made in Montana. With a career spanning over 50 years, she has worked as a location scout and casting director for films that have become part of the fabric of Livingston’s cultural heritage. Her first project was Rancho Deluxe, a Livingston classic, and her career has taken her to collaborate with some of Hollywood’s biggest names, including Robert Redford on A River Runs Through It and Dennis Quaid on Everything That Rises. Buckingham’s most recent work includes the film The Unholy Trinity, shot at Yellowstone Film Ranch, where she cast local actors alongside Samuel L. Jackson and Pierce Brosnan – making a cameo herself.
Join us for this exciting evening as Tina shares stories from her remarkable career and offers insight into the world of casting, with opportunities to ask questions about the local film industry. The event is free and open to the public with donations greatly appreciated. The Dulcie Theatre and lobby are equipped with UV air filtration systems.
The Livingston Film Series is generously sponsored by Marilyn Clotz & Mary Ann Bearden and Donald B. Gimbel.
