MSU’s Ilse-Mari Lee to give cello performance, reflect on composing experiences

Ilse-Mari Lee, dean of Montana State University’s Honors College, composer and cellist, will give a performance and share stores of her lifelong quest to understand the value and importance of music.
The performance, “The Transformative Power of Music,” will be held at 1pm Friday, May 3rd, in Howard Hall. In addition to her performance, Lee will reflect on her experiences as a composer and founding member of the MSU Cello Ensemble, which tours internationally.
The program is available to the public through partnerships with MSU Wonderlust, the MSU Alumni Foundation and Retiree Association. Light refreshments will be served, and voluntary donations will be accepted to support scholarships for Honors College students.
