Crosscut Mountain Sports Center's signature Nordic ski event, Skyloppet, is a two-day celebration of winter endurance and community beneath Montana’s expansive winter skies. Featuring skate and classic races for all ages and abilities on Crosscut's expansive groomed trail system in the Bridger Mountains, Skyloppet builds on the legacy of the Crosscut Classic with a marquee marathon race and approachable community ski events for everyone.

Bangtail Biathlon
Join us at Crosscut's premier community biathlon event, the Bangtail Biathlon, on Sunday, March 8! This event includes both a competition and a novice race for all ability levels at our Event Stadium. Novice races are open to all and are a great way to experience the sport of biathlon — rifle and ammo are provided. Whether you’re racing for the win or trying biathlon for the first time, we welcome all participants to join in on the fun!
