Enjoy a lobby show by Sharon Iltis & regular downstairs sets at Sacajawea

Sharon Iltis & Cliff DeManty
Look no further than the one-stop Sacajawea Hotel for dinner, drinks and dancing every Friday and Saturday night. Enjoy a fine dining experience in Pompey’s Grill followed by a night on the dance floor in the Sac Bar. Here’s a look at some of the upcoming acts.
Enjoy the sounds of Sharon Iltis during the annual Three Forks Christmas Stroll on Friday, December 6th. Setting up in the hotel lobby from 5–7:30pm, the singer/songwriter will entertain with originals from her new holiday album Christmas Everyday and other favorites. Cliff DeManty will join on piano.
Iltis’ Americana-style selections reflect her love, interaction, and spiritual connection with the Earth. She has released three albums – Just Waiting, Everyday and Today at Last – all available now.
Also on Dec. 6th, belt out your favorite tunes with Sunrise Karaoke downstairs in the bar. Bring your favorite songs and get ready to impress – or at least give it your best shot! You haven’t done karaoke until you’ve done it with Sunrise. Sunrise brings an additional show to Three Forks on Friday, December 13th.
Sam Platts & the Great Plainsmen are back on Saturday, December 7th. They play honky-tonk music with a unique sound guided by tradition. Songs range from originals written by the frontman to traditional country staples, led by his vocals and guitar. The group recorded their first studio album, Sundown at Noon (recorded under the name Sam Platts and the Kootenai Three), in 2013, which was entirely written and arranged by Platts and the band. In a time when the style of traditional country music has been pushed aside, the Great Plainsmen are keeping the sound alive.
Sugar Daddies return with all the favorites on Saturday, December 14th. The Montana-based trio has been performing in various venues around Southwest Montana since 2012. While the gist of their material is popular rock n’ roll, country, oldies, R&B and blues, they also have an extensive arsenal of original songs, all of which are palatable, as well as an array of lesser-known but still great songs by both obscure and well-known artists/songwriters. Their main focus is variety, and they half-jokingly have a motto of “No request left behind.”
Sac live music begins at 9pm, unless otherwise noted. The Sacajawea Hotel is located at 5 N Main in Three Forks. For more information about these events, visit www.sacajaweahotel.com. •
