From MSU News Service
BOZEMAN — Montana State University Wonderlust will partner with Bozeman Arts-Live! to present a series of online performances by local musicians.
All performances, which run weekly from Wednesday, May 27, until June 24, will start at 7:30 p.m., followed by a Wonderlust members-only online happy hour at 8 p.m. The happy hours provide members the opportunity to meet the featured musician and learn more about their musical endeavors. The performances are free and open to the public.
The series will kick off on Wednesday, May 27, with a concert by guitarist John Hosking, a Bozeman-based singer-songwriter and former touring actor. His music ranges from folk, classic western, melodic jazz and Latin rhythm.
Other concerts include:
- June 3: Multi-instrumentalist Mike Parsons and singer Linda Svendsen who perform in the country, Americana and bluegrass genres.
- June 10: Tom Robinson, a multi-instrumentalist who will present a Celtic harp performance.
- June 17: Marla Goodman with a performance that features experimental and classical works on the theremin, an electronic instrument that is played without being physically touched.
- June 24: A rebroadcast of a multi-media performance by Lori Rosolowsky, a pianist and singer-songwriter.
A full performance calendar can be found on the Bozeman-Arts Live! website at www.bozemanarts-live.com/calendar.
While the performances are free, post-concert happy hours are $10 per person for access to all five events. To register, visit www.montana.edu/wonderlust/. Individuals will receive a link and email reminder for the happy hours.
