Montana State University’s School of Music will host classical guitarist Marko Topchii in concert at 7:30pm Thursday, April 17th, in Reynolds Recital Hall located in MSU’s Howard Hall.
Topchii began playing the guitar at age 4 in Ukraine and has won more than 100 awards in international competitions. He has also released several albums and performed in venues such as Carnegie Hall in New York, the Salle Cortot in Paris and Yamaha Ginza Hall in Tokyo.
During MSU’s concert, Topchii will perform “Undercurrents” by Frederic Hand and “Toccata” by Joaquín Rodrigo, along with nine additional pieces of music.
Concert tickets are $15 for general admission, $5 for MSU students and are free for those in pre-kindergarten through 12th grades. Attendees can purchase tickets at the door or www.montana.edu/music. •
