Magic of Montana nature inspires new Zoot art exhibit
Zoot Art Gallery is pleased to present a solo art show by Heather Rapp this month. Opening with an artist’s reception on Thursday, December 5th, “Mountain Magic” will be on display into early January. The exhibit will feature abstract paintings inspired by the magical landscapes and animals of Montana. Please join for this public event featuring refreshments and live music from 6–8pm. There will also be an opportunity to purchase Rapp’s art products just in time for the holidays.
“Every day I take the time to look around at the beauty surrounding me, I am filled with visions of paintings far more numerous than the hours I have available to paint,” Rapp says. “My style is attributed to the roughness of a palette knife, the use of a spray bottle in dripping and mixing bright saturated colors, mixed mark making, and spiritual and animal forms or abstract landscapes. […] Murals and larger canvas pieces are what fuel my creative freedom and artistic fire.”
Zoot Art Gallery features a rotating schedule of works by Montana artists in a corporate exhibition space for the enjoyment of employees and the community alike.
