Come one, come all to the second annual Bozeman MADE fair! Set for Saturday and Sunday, October 26th and 27th, the weekend exhibition is a modern handcrafted market featuring over 200 local artists and makers. Get a jump-start on holiday shopping (and a few things for yourself, of course) while learning about local nonprofit organizations and socializing with the community.
Event hours are 10am–5pm on Saturday and 10am–4pm on Sunday at Brick Breeden Fieldhouse, offering tons of space for these talented folks’ booths, visiting nonprofits, activities for all ages, and more. The Bozeman MADE if free of admission with complimentary parking and plenty of room to shop. And like last year’s bonus, a FREE tote bag for the first 50 shoppers will be offered each day! The donation of a non-perishable food item to help support the Gallatin County Food Bank is encouraged upon entry.
There’s something for everyone! Event-goers can expect everything from affordable functional works of art to fine heirloom pieces, as well as watching artists in residence showcase a little of how it’s all done. Family friendly activities include trick or treating, all ages costume contest, hands-on projects, and even a Momma Feeding zone provided by the Gallatin Breastfeeding Coalition. Make a day of it with your friends and enjoy strolling the aisles with an adult beverage (beer and wine), all while supporting regional artists.
This curated collection of artisans will represent the region’s best of the best – and the event organizers are known to put on quite a show! HandMADE Montana is a professional organization for art and handcrafted goods. They organize MADE fairs, workshops, as well as other events, provide resources to artists, and encourage growth and support through their statewide community efforts.
Mark your calendars! Helena’s Holiday MADE fair is set for November 23rd and 24th at Lewis & Clark Fairgrounds. Then, on December 8th, an additional Holiday MADE fair sets up at Missoula’s Adams Center.
