Converge for early holiday celebrations at eventful Mountains Walking
Your friendly neighborhood Mountains Walking Brewery is ready to accommodate large parties this holiday season. With room for everyone at their German-style beer hall tables, they’ll be open for business every day but Christmas. In addition to their always-delicious brews and bites, the popular space features regular live music and other events to entertain guests. Here’s a look at what’s coming up.
Bird Dog Josh Moore delivers an acoustic show on Monday, December 2nd from 6–8pm. The North Carolina native is the lead guitarist for the popular band, also contributing his impressive vocals. Moore’s solo acoustic show features a healthy blend of originals and covers. Sometimes described as a musically gifted goofball, he’ll bring a mix of good-feelin’ folk and bluegrass to the brewery.
The following Monday, December 9th, sees a reception event with local multi-medium artist and musician Gregory Swain from 6–8pm. Often referred to as “Swizzle,” Swain is a regular fixture at the Haufbrau and other venues around town.
“My love for the arts has connected me with amazing people, and has allowed me to be a part of communities in many fields,” writes Swain. “I connect my love of music, art, writing, language, jiu jitsu, judo, ice hockey, snowboarding and skateboarding, teaching, science, mathematics, philosophy, cooking and horticulture.”
