HRDC’s Ready to Rent, a renter education program, is returning to the Bozeman Public Library in June. The free class is designed to help participants develop a plan to overcome rental barriers such as a poor rental history, low credit score, and limited income. With a focus on tenant rights and responsibilities, Ready to Rent offers strategies to gain landlord approval for rental properties.
Upon completion of all class sessions, participants will receive a Ready to Rent certificate and wallet card to show potential landlords that they know what it takes to be a good renter.
The Ready to Rent class sessions will be held Monday through Wednesday, June 5th, 6th and 7th from 6–9pm at the Bozeman Public Library, 626 E. Main St., in Downtown Bozeman. Classes are free, but pre-registration is required. Registration packets are available at HRDC, 32 S. Tracy, also in Downtown Bozeman. The registration deadline is Friday, June 2nd at 5pm.
