Celebrate all that our winter trails have to offer at the Gallatin Valley Land Trust’s 21 annual Make Tracks for Trails, Sunday, February 28, 2016, at the Lindley Center in Bozeman. Learn something new or just play in the snow at this fun, family-friendly community event. Activities include:
o The traditional GVLT Skiathon
o Guided ski tours of Highland Glen with BSF Nordic athletes
o Free trial skis for kids thanks to Sacajawea Middle School
o Ask-a Groomer — BSF fearless trail groomers are on hand to explain just what makes those trails so awesome!
o Snow Yoga with FLOW Outside, combining yoga and snowshoeing in the great outdoors
o Fat Bike demos courtesy of Bangtail Bikes and group rides with Bozeman’s own Project X
o Indoor and outdoor kids’ activities provided by Bozeman Parks & Rec
o Family Sledding and more!
At 6:00, stick around for a twilight ski, bonfire, hot soup, cold beer and live music from the Bridger Creek Boys, plus a chance to win great prizes! All activities are free and open to the public.
