FIRST FRIDAY AT STORY MANSION
“The Story Mansion: It’s History, Preservation and Role in City Life” is the topic for the monthly First Friday Sack Lunch Series, July 7th from noon to 1pm at Story Mansion, 811 S. Willson.
Sponsored by Bozeman Preservation Advocacy Group (BPAG) and The Extreme History Project, the series engages the community in discussion between the public and experts on topics of historic
preservation that impact or enhance life in Bozeman. The focus this month is the Story Mansion, where First Friday usually gathers.
A description of the mansion’s rich history will begin a conversation with Ben Lloyd, Comma- Q principal architect who guided much of the renovation to date, and Andy Epple, director of city planning during
renovations in 2003-09. Currently, Epple is President of Friends of the Story Mansion. The discussion will include the role of the mansion in public life.
The Story Mansion is owned by the City of Bozeman and functions under the Parks and Recreation Department.
BPAG invites the public to join in regular monthly conversation that celebrates Bozeman’s heritage and guides its future at First Friday.
