Dear Music Lover,
Because you are a loyal friend to the Bozeman Symphony and an avid music lover, we come to you with a very important request – to consider the role you play within the Bozeman Symphony Society. Just as a section would lack richness and depth without each individual musician, the Bozeman Symphony would be incomplete without your generous support. Our most crucial fundraising campaign of the year is now underway. Your 2015 annual fund gift will help determine the future of the Bozeman Symphony. We ask that you continue to support the symphony with a year-end, tax-deductible contribution.
This year, you have already helped us accomplish so many wonderful things such as our incredible $75K Symphony Summer Challenge, the 2015 Festival of the Fourth free community concert, Luminosity, a sold out symphonic choir performance under the direction of Jon Harney, and the beginning of a fun-filled 48th season of live symphonic music making. The symphony must finish the year strong to plan for seasons to come. It is through generous donors like you we will preserve the musical excellence that is a living part of our community, now and for future generations, to allow our community to experience the beauty of live symphonic music, to be exposed to world-class talent and to grow through education and community partnerships.
Each season, we make it our highest priority to ensure that the full impact of your donation is realized. Strategic budgeting is put into place and adhered to by an experienced executive team. Your donation, in combination with our dedicated management team and talented group of orchestra and choir musicians, enriches our community. You can see the passion on the performer’s faces from the stage, how the symphonic experience affects individuals listening to and giving themselves fully into the music, how conversations exclaim praise for Maestro Savery and the delightful and sometimes unexpected high quality of the orchestra and choir. Think about how far the Bozeman Symphony Orchestra and Symphonic Choir has come, and what opportunities exist for future generations with your support.
Beyond symphonic performances, the Symphony provides the community and surrounding areas with so much more, such as:
* “Far Afield,” a highly accessible community outreach program;
* The donation of thousands of dollars’ worth of tickets to local nonprofits;
* Scholarships awarded to promising young musicians;
* Free concerts offered to thousands of families and children;
* Employment and engagement opportunities for nearly 250 people.
Funds are crucial to maintaining a vigilant devotion to high quality musical performances and outreach to the community. Your gift helps to fund every aspect of what the Symphony offers to the community. So we ask, will you make your most generous annual fund gift of $25.00 or more to support our most critical campaign of the year?
Upcoming concerts in the 2015-2016 season include: Holiday on Broadway featuring soprano Anne Runolfsson on December 12th and 13th; our wonderful Piano Series featuring Robert Henry on January 22nd; Return to Carnegie featuring violinist Alexander Markov on February 6th and 7th; and Adventures in Lost Worlds, our free family concert with special guest Dr. Jack Horner on February 13th. We hope that you can join us for one or more of these spectacular performances.
On behalf of the Bozeman Symphony Board of Directors, administration, and orchestra and choir musicians – thank you for your continues support. Thank you for allowing us to feed our shared musical passion. And thank you for keeping the arts in Bozeman healthy and vibrant.
