Milwaukee-based Americana trio Dead Horses. The band will be performing a co-bill at The Filling Station with Laney Lou and the Bird Dogs on Wednesday, July 27 at 9:00PM as a pre-party show for Red Ants Pants Music Festival. Tickets will be $7 at the door. Dead Horses will also headline the festival’s opening night street party.
Led by Sarah Vos, Dead Horses recently recorded their third studio album “Cartoon Moon” with Ken Coomer (Wilco, Uncle Tupelo) who both produced and drummed on the album. “Cartoon Moon” is set for September 30 release, but the first single, “All I Really Need To Know” is available for free download here.
The Bluegrass Situation will be premiering the accompanying video on July 18, but if useful, here is a :20 video teaser that can be downloaded and shared.
Stream full album via Dead Horses’ EPK. Or if you’d prefer physical copy, please let me know your mailing address–I’d be happy to accommodate.
