The historic Ellen Theatre in downtown Bozeman has the classic big screen presentations and stage entertainment you’re looking for in the upcoming weeks! Here’s a look at what’s coming up.
The Ellen is smokin’ this fall! On Saturday, October 1st, the hilarious Double Feature of Best in Show and Waiting for Guffman lights up the screen. Both are mockumentaries written and directed by Christopher Guest (This is Spinal Tap), and star Eugene Levy, Catherine O’Hara, Fred Willard, and Parker Posey. Best in Show screens at 7pm, followed by Waiting for Guffman at 9pm. All seats are $5.
Then, on Friday, October 7th and Saturday, October 8th, Don’t Close Your Eyes: Live Radio Theatre takes The Ellen stage by storm. The talents of Ryan Cassavaugh and Keith Suta shine brightly in two tales of mystery, intrigue, and adventure—all wrapped in side-splitting laughs! The storytelling commences at 7:30pm. Tickets are $15 for adults, and $12 for students/youth. Both the Friday and Saturday shows are the same, so it’s two plays for the price of one!
Travel back to the 1980s and the Age of John Hughes with The Breakfast Club, on Thursday, October 13th at 7:30pm. Reconnect with the Princess, the Athlete, the Brain, the Basket Case, and the Criminal for just $5. All moviegoers are encouraged to embrace the era and dress up!
Beer, wine, and other refreshments, which may be brought into the theatre, will be sold in the lobby starting one hour prior to all events.
