With fresh powder and a chill in the air, Bridger Bowl is set to host a number of events throughout the winter season in addition to their usual everyday downhill fun. Here’s a look at what’s coming up in the first half of January. Snow Sports programs begin the weekend of Saturday the 2nd.
Register now for multi-week programs for kids and adults. The Community Dual GS Series begins on Saturday the 9th. This citizen race welcomes alpine, telemark, and snowboard racers of all ages. Also on the 9th, the Intro to the Ridge Workshop will showcase guided transceiver practice, a review of Ridge skiing protocols and route finding for the basic routes on Ridge terrain. This workshop is for advanced skiers and snowboarders only. The Apron Challenge will take place on Sunday the 10th. This challenge is complete with a timed hike up the Apron and a wild ski descent down an off-piste Super G course. This event is open to citizen alpine, telemark, and snowboard racers of all ages. Finally, come celebrate Bridger Bowl’s 61st Birthday on Friday the 15th. This special day up the hill will include: discounted lift tickets and lessons; carpooling individuals of 3 or more (each receive voucher for $20 lift ticket for this day only); group ski and snowboard lessons for only $20 at 10:30am or 12:30pm –any level, ages 7 to Adult, with reservations required (call 556-5662); and free birthday cake while supplies last! Carpools with Season Pass Holders will receive a 15% discount on food with voucher.
There will be live music by Ashley Holland during lunch in the Deer Park Chalet. Beer Promo by Montucky Cold Snacks with discounted pints and swag.
