The Montana Chamber Music Society begins its 8th season with the Muir Quartet and guest artist Alexander Fiterstein performing in Bozeman on September 15, 2016; concert begins at 7:30 p.m. in Reynolds Recital Hall at MSU Bozeman. This concert will feature Bach Art of the Fugue selections, Beethoven C minor String Trio, and Weber Clarinet Quintet with Alexander Fiterstein.
The group will also perform at the Shane Lalani Center in Livingston on Friday September 16, 2016 at 7:00 PM. This special out-of-Bozeman performance will feature Haydn Quartet Op. 77 no. 1, Klezmer works with Alexander Fiterstein, and Brahms A minor Quartet.

The Grammy-winning Muir Quartet, now in its 38th season, has performed at Carnegie Hall, the White House, the Sydney Opera House, Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, and many other international venues, including over 2,000 concerts and 50 tours to Europe and the Far East. They have been in Residence at Boston University since 1983. Mr. Fiterstein is one of the most sought-after clarinetists in the world today, and is a frequent MCMS participant.
