19th & 20th Century American Art Exhibit
Open Wednesday through Saturday, 11am to 5pm.
Come in and enjoy the works of John Frederick Kennsett, Sanford Robinson gifford and more from the Hudson River School whose aesthetic vision was highly influenced by Romanticism; three of the six founders of the Taos Society (Joseph Sharp, Herbert “Buck” Dunton and E I Couse) along with the giants of Western American art- Charles Russell, Frederic Remington, Olaf Seltzer and Henry Farny. The founder of the Transcendental Painting group of New Mexico, Raymond Jonson, along with Art Green and John Nieto represent a more Modernist painting tradition.
Many more artists are represented in the exhibit and as always – admission is FREE!
