The 2024 Montana State University Spring Rodeo will run Thursday, April 11th, through Sunday, April 14th, at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse. It will be the rodeo teams’ only home competition of the season.
The rodeo will consist of two separate events: one on Thursday and Friday and one on Saturday and Sunday. The full competition breakdown is below.
- Thursday, April 11th: Performance rounds begin at 7pm.
- Friday, April 12th: Slack begins at 10am, Short-Go Performance at 7pm.
- Saturday April 13th: Slack begins at 10am, Performance rounds at 7pm.
- Championship Sunday, April 14th: Short-Go Performance begins at 1pm.
Seating in the fieldhouse is reserved, and tickets for a single day begin at $11. Children ages 2 and under are free if sitting on a guardian’s lap. To purchase tickets, visit msubobcats.com/tickets or call 406-994-CATS.
The four-day rodeo will feature the MSU men’s and women’s teams competing against six other schools from the Big Sky region: MSU Northern, the University of Montana, UM Western, Miles Community College, Dawson Community College and Northwest College.
For those who want to watch at home, the rodeo will be livestreamed. The 7pm sessions on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and the 1pm session on Sunday will be broadcast on MTN stations across Montana, and select sections will be available on the CowGirl Channel and Cowboy Channel app.
