Bozeman: B Bar Ranch, located in the Tom Miner Basin in Emigrant, MT, is hosting a nordic ski and lunch FUNdraiser to benefit the Montana Outdoor Science School (MOSS). The event, which is open to all, is on Saturday, January 30th, from 9am – 4pm. Skiers (all ages and all levels) are invited to the ranch to ski 30k of meticulously groomed cross country ski trails. The fee includes a full day of skiing, a hearty lunch in the warming hut, snacks and beverages. Proceeds support MOSS’s in-school and outdoor science education programs. In the spirit of combining hands-on science education with outdoor exploration, MOSS staff will lead “Wonders of Winter” ski tours throughout the day. Snowshoes and kids pull behind sleds are also allowed.
