Whether you’re a seasoned TATE Academy student, or simply want to dip your toe into the theatre pool – this is the perfect opportunity! East of the Sun, West of the Moon is the Norwegian interpretation of Beauty and the Beast. This full-length play is a lesson in dealing with bullying, friendship, bravery, family, trust, and hope.
Students cast will gain confidence, as they experience a professional rehearsal process. Acting techniques will be explored and students will hone individual talents through character development. TATE Academy strives to establish a safe environment, emphasizing collaboration and support of one’s peers. Additionally, there are opportunities available to students wishing to assist behind-the-scenes with this production.
Performances of East of the Sun, West of the Moon are scheduled for
January 27th, 28th, and 29th and will be presented on The Ellen Theatre stage.
