Yellowstone Ballet hosts ‘Easter Tea’ at Shane Center
Yellowstone Ballet Company (YBC) will present an Easter Tea event on Saturday, March 24th in the ballroom of Livingston’s Shane Lalani Center for the Arts beginning at 2pm. The event is a fundraiser for teacher Nikita Kusuragshev, a former Bolshoi Ballet soloist from Moscow, to continue coaching area youth in the art of Russian Ballet and instructing all ages in Russian Folk Dance.
Be sure to dress up in your finest for this Victorian-style tea. The event includes dance entertainment with an excerpt from Vivaldi’s Spring, Easter games, an old-fashioned waltz, Russian Folk Dancing for all ages, a silent auction and a wide assortment of refreshments, appetizers, tea-sandwiches, desserts, coffee and tea.
Bring the whole family! Games for children include: Pin the Tail on the Easter Bunny, Twister, and Bean Bag Throw with prizes. The youngest students from Yellowstone Ballet School will also perform dances including “Rock-a-bye Baby” and “She’ll be Coming ‘Round the Mountain.” It will be a perfect setting to introduce young children to dance and have some fun at the same time.
Advance tickets for YBC’s Easter Tea are $18 for adults, $15 for students (13-8), and $12 per child. Tickets will also be available at the door for an extra $2.
