The Murray Bar in Livingston is set to host a Vinyl Record Night on Thursday, February 18th beginning at 8pm.
People are encouraged to bring in vinyl records to play. The house provides a host with a turntable and a collection of records that people can look through and pick out to play. That’s it really. Pretty simple. Just sitting around a bar listening to old vinyl records–33s & 45s. The Murray doesn’t have a portable 78 player. For over 100 years, The Murray Bar has remained the mainstay of the downtown Livingston bar scene. With live music and an authentic atmosphere, bands from all over the country have made The Murray Bar the epicenter for music in southwest Montana. It is a popular spot for locals, visiting celebrities, and travelers. A friendly bar staff, reasonable drink prices, 16 beers on tap, and a fantastic food menu served up by the 2nd Street Bistro and Gil’s Goods make The Murray Bar a full service establishment you don’t want to miss out on. The Murray Bar is located at 201 West Park Street in Livingston within the hotel of the same name.
