Songwriting deviants, Tumbledown House, are returning to Bozeman for their biggest show yet, to be held at The Ellen Theater on Friday, November 13th at 7:30pm.

The duo is bringing their virtuosic clarinetist with them from the Bay Area and will be joined onstage by local musicians Jake Fleming (saxophone), Sean Lehmann (bass), and Adam Greenberg (drums). Seating is limited and tickets are $12 plus fees and available through the Ellen’s website (theellentheatre.com).
Following the success of their episode of 11th and Grant (which garnered a Regional Emmy Award), the band exploded in popularity and has since performed a sold out show in Bozeman as well as a short tour in Northern Montana. Tumbledown House performs music described as modern speakeasy and gritty saloon jazz. Taking cues and inspiration from New Orleans roots music, prohibition themes, the lawlessness of the wild west, and smatterings of modern instrumentation and avante aesthetic, the duo writes refreshingly creative original tunes and also performs standards and vintage songs made famous by Ella Fitzgerald, Patsy Cline, Jonny Cash, and Billie Holiday. The band released their debut album in Bozeman in 2009 and has, since then, performed over 700 shows in 25 states.
They currently reside in the San Francisco Bay Area where they have steadily built their audiences over the last few years. This show will feature some new songs that will be released on their upcoming album in the spring of next year. Make sure to get your tickets early from the Ellen box office! See you at the show! •
