Bozeman Brewing will host Sunday Funday with the Friends beginning at 2pm on March 6th in support of the Missouri Breaks Monument.
Come drink beer with the Friends of the Missouri Breaks Monument. They will be set up at Bozeman Brewing telling people about what they do on the river, gaining new members, and signing up volunteers for the awesome work done on the river. Some snacks will be available as well as raffle tickets and prizes. Friends of the Missouri Breaks Monument is the 501(c)(3) friends group of the Upper Missouri River Breaks National Monument–where the Wild and Scenic Missouri River flows through nearly half-a-million acres of central Montana prairies and badlands. The Monument is one of the crown jewels of the National Conservation Lands. The Monument is managed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), and is public land that belongs to all Americans. The Friends were established in 2001. They’re the only locally based advocacy group working to protect the Upper Missouri River Breaks National Monument. The Friends aim to protect and preserve the Monument by: educating the public; advocating for responsible access and environmentally responsible uses; and supporting groups and agencies that protect and restore the Monument.
