Roller derby gets comically horrific for next home match
The antici…pation is almost over as Gallatin Roller Derby hosts its next home bout of the 2022 season. Do the time warp at Rocky Horror Roller Derby on Saturday, August 6th at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds’ Haynes Pavilion. Beginning at 6:30pm, Gallatin Roller Derby will face off against the Portneuf Valley Bruisers from Pocatello.
Bring out your fishnets and sequins for this Rocky Horror-themed bout! Costumed attendees aged 18+ get first crack at limited trackside seating (aka the Danger Zone). This family friendly event features a food truck, no-host bar by the American Legion, raffles, games and prizes.
Tickets for Rocky Horror are $8 in advance at www.grderby.com or $10 at the door. Kids age 10 and under are admitted free. Doors open at 6pm.
A portion of event proceeds will benefit Livingston’s Stafford Animal Shelter, which was recently destroyed by flooding. The shelter prevents animal distress by caring for displaced animals, facilitating adoptions and reunions, minimizing pet overpopulation and pioneering humane education and community outreach.
