Tickets now on sale for the Montana event of the year
The Red Ants Pants Music Festival has announced its Side Stage Lineup for the 14th annual event, set for July 24th–27th at the Jackson Ranch in White Sulphur Springs.
The Side Stage is known as a highly sought-after launching point for musicians who want to earn the opportunity to play the Main Stage the following year through the Red Ants Pants Music Festival’s Emerging Artist Competition. In between the Main Stage music, growing numbers of fans find their “next favorite band” on the Side Stage at Red Ants. And, back by popular demand, KGLT Kids’ Brian Kassay will once again be hosting a songwriting workshop for kids with a chance to perform on the side stage.
The Red Ants Pants Music Festival will feature 16 side stage acts in 2025, including Abby Posner, Amanda Stewart, Annie Bartholomew, Falcon Heart, Great Aunt, John Hewitt & the New Americans, Kyle Hunter & the Mountain Standard, Maddi Warren & Alli Butler, North Fork Crossing, Sugar Britches, The Best Westerns, Tyler John Kraehling and Will Overman. Also enjoy Cowboy Larry Kiff, the 2025 Beard & Moustache Contest and the KGLT Kids Songwriting Workshop.
The side stage performers join previously announced festival headliners Gillian Welch and David Rawlings, Steve Earle and Reckless Kelly, St. Paul & the Broken Bones, Stephen Wilson Jr. and Brittney Spencer, among many others.
“Every year, our Side Stage draws incredible rising stars and a depth of talent. We couldn’t be more thrilled about this year’s lineup. Festival fans are engaged in the process of voting for the next Emerging Artist at the Side Stage, which is a wonderful way for the audience to better connect with their next favorite artists,” said Sarah Calhoun, Red Ants Pants Music Festival producer. “Our Side Stage has taken on a life of its own with so much energy, talent and fan support. We’re truly looking forward to our 2025 Side Stage lineup.”
