And the Winner Is… the 2017 Oscar Nominated Shorts!
For the 8th season, Bozeman Film Society is proud to present the wildly popular Oscar-Nominated Short Films, brought to you by Shorts HD and Magnolia Pictures. With all three categories offered this year – Live Action, Animation and Documentary – this is your annual chance to predict the winners! And as a bonus this year, passholders who attend both Live-Action and Animation Shorts on Saturday, February 18th will receive the Documentary program on Sunday, February 19th for FREE!
Lists of titles in each program, along with synopses and final running times, will be available after the nominations are announced on Jan. 24th. The Live Action & Documentary Shorts are generally suited for mature audiences, while the Animation program may have some shorts appropriate for youth. Ratings for each Animated Short will be listed after the nominees are announced. BFS Academy Award ballots will be available in the Ellen Theatre lobby. The Academy Awards take place Sunday, Feb. 26th.

Sun. Feb 19, 3:30 PM | Documentary (estimated 150 minutes, with 30 minutes intermission)
If receiving the FREE Documentary program, you will be assigned the same seats for all three showings. Please let the Ellen Theatre box office know if you do not plan on attending all 3 of the programs and we will release seats for the show you’re not attending. General public tickets go on-sale January 18th for the Triple Feature; Single program tickets go on-sale January 31st — Keep ‘Em Flickering!
