SmokeStack and the Foothill Fury is Jarod “Smokey” Yerkes, who grew up in the hills of Georgia, and was stepped in the juke-joint blues scene from 17-27. He plays several guitars and a small foot percussion set-up. He spent 6 years and 380,000 miles on the road, playing music, after leaving Georgia.
