Noon Notes @ the Library
Monday, April 4, 12:00pm
This month’s Noon Notes will feature classical guitarist Stuart Weber and visiting guests flutist Morgan Pappas, and guitarist Gerardo Zerate Terrazas. Madeline Price will play viola and Julia Cory Slovarp will play cello. The program will include the first movement of the Franz Schubert guitar quartet, as well as originals by Weber, Dvorák, Piazzolla, and more.
Classical guitarist Stuart Weber’s trademark blend of dignity and humor has captivated audiences from The Kennedy Center to intimate venues across the country.
Morgan Pappas is a rising star in the New York Metropolitan music scene and a sought after flutist with chamber orchestras everywhere. She has appeared on stage at Avery Fisher Hall, Carnegie Hall and Symphony Space, and is currently a graduate student at Aaron Copland School of Music.
Gerardo Zarate Terrazas began his guitar studies at the Conservatory of Music in Puebla, Mexico at the age of 13. Now he performs in several established duos, trios and festival orchestras throughout Mexico and Europe.
This popular chamber music series is at the Library, the first Monday of every month, from noon to 1pm, free and open to the public. It is sponsored by the Montana Chamber Music Society, the Montana Arts Council and hosted by the Bozeman Public Library Foundation.
