GVLT closes summer w/ trail-based scavenger hunt
The Gallatin Valley Land Trust will host its annual NextGen Pedal Parade on Thursday, September 5th. The event will begin and end on the GVLT Lawn, located 212 S Wallace, starting at 5:30pm.
Gather your pals and your whole family for a celebration of an amazing summer on the trails. Dress up silly and bike around the trails for a scavenger hunt. Hit all the designated trail stops around town for chances to win outstanding prizes. Get raffle tickets at each stop and answer trivia or complete challenges for extra tickets. Bring your tickets back to base camp to enter to win incredible prizes. BONUS tickets awarded for dog poop scoops! NEW this year, extra stops close to base camp for the kids.
After the scavenger hunt, enjoy the company of trail lovin’ friends, a costume contest, music, food, lawn games, and local beer on the lawn. Community partners including the Forest Service Bear Aware Program, Adventure Scientists and the Southwest Montana Mountain Bike Association will join in on the fun.
