Broadway Bound is the stirring conclusion to the playwright’s autobiographical “Eugene” Trilogy. We watch Eugene grow up in Brighton Beach Memoirs, and join the army in Biloxi Blues. After his military service, he returns home to pursue a career as a comedy writer, but he immediately alienates his family when he uses their foibles as the basis for a new radio show.
Broadway Bound runs in the Dulcie Theatre at the Shane Center from July 15 through August 7, playing Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm, with Sunday matinees at 3 pm.
