Museum of the Rockies kicks off the spooky season with a favorite returning event for local youth. The Halloween Grossology Family Day is set for Saturday, October 12th with activities from 1–4pm.
Step into a world of scientific wonders and meet real scientists from MSU and local organizations stationed throughout the museum. Pick up your “Grossology Passport” and embark on a journey to observe thrilling chemistry experiments and get up close with creepy, crawly critters. Embrace the challenge by visiting every gross station, and if you can stomach it all, a delightful bag of treats awaits!
It’s the perfect setting for a family costume party themed around “mad scientists,” ideal for unleashing the inner scientist in all ages. This event is included with museum admission. Secure your spot by pre-registering or simply get your tickets at the door for a spooktacular time.
The local exhibitor has likewise announced the return of spirited seasonal event, “Pour & Gore.” Three adults-only events will be held October 19th, 25th and 26th from 6–10pm each night.
Join for an unforgettable evening of eerie elegance and historical intrigue! Immerse yourself in a night of hauntingly historic activities, including a Victorian séance, a chilling historic funeral, and a spine-tingling planetarium show. Delight in Montana whiskey from local distilleries, savor hearty appetizers from Sadie’s BBQ, and indulge in delectable desserts. For an extra touch of frightful delight, enjoy a seasonal cocktail from Plonk, with mocktails and non-alcoholic options also available.
“Pour & Gore” tickets are $49 for members and $55 for non-members. Attendees must be 21+. Ticketing access may be found through the event host website.
