BOZEMAN — MontanaPBS will air a new NOVA film, “Decoding COVID-19,” at 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 13.
The film looks at how scientists are racing to understand and defeat the coronavirus behind the COVID-19 pandemic. “Decoding COVID-19” producers note that the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 has upended life as we know it in just months, prompting an unprecedented global effort to understand, contain and treat the virus.
The film follows doctors as they strategize to stop the spread and researchers seeking treatments and vaccines. Along the way, the film shows how this disease emerged, what it does to the human body and why it became a pandemic.
