Bottom of the Barrell will close out 2015 with a 3-night stretch beginning with a New Year’s Eve show, Thursday the 31st, and continuing into the New Year with shows on Friday the 1st and Saturday the 2nd. Formed in the summer of 2010 from the remnants of other local bands and open mic night regulars, BOTB brought a rhythm section of Jon Parvin on bass and Tom Casale on drums together with vocals/guitar duo of Jeff Bellino and Lauren Regnier. The result was a steady rockin’ country band with vocal harmonies and a danceable groove. The band based out of Big Sky has been touring and performing together since its inception as one of SW Montana’s best country rock bands. A collaboration of friends and co-open mic performers, the four members of BOTB have known each other and performed together (in many random arrangements) for a number of years. This particular arrangement of musical talent has allowed the members of BOTB to refine their sound and style to reflect their love of the good life and their love for a good time.
Country/Americana band Tessy Lou & the Shotgun All-Stars will bring their talents to the stage on Friday, January 8th and Saturday the 9th. The band is comprised of Tessy Lou Williams with vocals and acoustic guitar, Kenny Williams on bass and vocals, and Bryan Paugh on fiddle, mandolin, and vocals. This trio was born to sing the songs that tell the story of life lived in a west. “C’mon Boys!” is the rallying cry of the band working it’s magic for all lucky enough to catch one of their shows. Check them out! GrooveWax is a rock, country, and blues band taking the stage Friday, January 15th and Saturday the 16th. Consisting of former Jamelution members, Cindy Damjanovich, Junior Damjanovich and Nik Damjanovich, and former SaddleTramp Band member, Gary Peterson and Rockin’ Steve ‘Monster’ Melia of Billings, Groovewax is definitely worth coming to Chico for! All Chico shows begin at 9pm. Chico Hot Springs is the perfect location for your getaway…not too long of a drive, but also just far enough away to leave your troubles elsewhere.
