Homegrown episodes with Raven Roshi, 3 Miles to Clyde available now
Montana Homegrown Radio moves into spring with a pair of fresh acts! Enjoy the original, ethereal indie folk of Raven Roshi that teases transportation into the mystic. Cerebral with a hint of counter-culture blues, deeply emotive, hypnotic at times, and always laying down a chill vibe. Original songs are written and performed by Bozeman-based Charles Wolf Drimal on Spanish guitar, harmonica, and foot tambourine. He’s accompanied by Chris Jenkins on lead guitar and occasionally other supreme musicians.
Also on Montana Homegrown, local rock band 3 Miles to Clyde. The energetic ensemble specializes in unforgettable live performances and music that keeps its audiences moving. As a prelude to their in-the-works debut album, lead-off single “When the Fire Dies” is available to download or stream now.
Montana Homegrown Radio is an online independent musician showcase featuring different area acts with every episode. Presented much like a live broadcast radio show, each hosted episode includes an interview component, discussion, and of course – live music!
Previous guest artists include The Wind and the Willows, The Dirt Farmers, Quenby, Bridger Creek Boys, Red Glow Buffalo, Kate & the AlleyKats, Edis, Dave Brinker, Kennedy Richards, Henry & Isla, The Road Agents, DASH, Boston McDonald, Dave Provost, and plenty more! Though these artists’ episodes have already “aired,” previous editions are always available for your listening pleasure 24/7.
Montana Homegrown Radio is hosted by Dirk Alan, a native Montanan who’s been in the music business for the last 40 years in multiple capacities. With a passion for music and helping his fellow musicians, Dirk provides a very laid back, fun environment so radio guests can be as comfortable and spontaneous as possible.
Montana Homegrown Radio serves as a promotional space for local talent and their many art forms – and they want YOU! Any musician with a story to tell and a song to sing is encouraged to apply for a guest spot on the podcast.
