Caring for Yourself While Caring for Others
October 1 @ 6:00pm
Caring for others is rewarding but often physically, emotionally and mentally challenging. Whether you’re a healthcare worker supporting patients or caring for a loved one, this course, hosted by MSU Academic Technology & Outreach, provides practical strategies to prioritize your well-being.
Participants will learn to identify stress, compassion fatigue and burnout signs, and explore evidence-based methods to enhance resilience, set healthy boundaries, manage stress and develop lasting self-care routines. By the end, each person will design a personalized wellness plan to maintain their health over the long term while continuing their caregiving roles.
