The Crazy Mountain Dulcimer Players will host a Dulcimer Workshop led by Mike Anderson the weekend of Friday, August 5th through Sunday, August 7th at Big Timber’s Carnegie Library. Friday evening will feature a Root Beer Float Social at 6pm.
The public is invited to this event highlighted by a Dulcimer Concert with Mike Anderson. Part one of the Workshop with Mike will take place on Saturday from 10am-4pm. Explore the dulcimer, focus on learning tunes, and make the songs you might know sound better. Part two of the Workshop with Mike will close out the weekend on Sunday from 11am-3pm. Work on chording, learn how to do painless sing-a-longs with the dulcimer, and get insight on more embellishments including using a capo. Cost of the event for adults is $35 for both workshop days, or $20 each day. Family admission is $40 for both days, or $25 per day.
Kids run $25 for both days, or $15 per day. Mike Anderson is a singer, storyteller, musician, dulcimerist, writer, author, educator, and emcee of this fun event!
