The Bozeman Folklore Society invites novice and experienced musicians to join the Montana Reel and Strathspey Society (MRSS) to play traditional Scottish music on Wednesday, November 2nd from 7–8:30pm. Sheet music will be provided. The group will practice the first Wednesday of each month, at the Christus Collegium, 714 S. 8th Ave, in Bozeman.

Bozeman Folklore will continue its new season with a Contra Dance set for Friday, November 4th at the Bozeman Senior Center, located at 807 N. Tracy Ave. The dance will feature live Celtic music by Barley and Sage with caller Derek Gallagher. A half-hour beginners workshop starts at 7:30pm, with the dance set for 8pm. Families, singles, and couples are welcome. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for Bozeman Folklore Society members, $5 for MSU students and those 5–18 years of age. Please bring clean, grit-free, non-marking shoes to protect the floor. An additional Contra Dance will be held Friday, November 19th at the Bozeman Senior Center, located at 807 N. Tracy Ave.
