Museum of the Rockies in August! Here’s a look at what’s coming up. MOR will host another lecture highlighting childbirth at the turn of the century. “Childbirth and Change: Reproduction in Montana” featuring speaker Dr. Jennifer Hill and Stacey Haugland, CPM will be held Thursday, August 18th beginning at 6pm in Hager Auditorium. Using the Tinsley family’s history as a guide, the event will look at the ways pregnancy, childbirth, and delivery complications affected residents of Montana and the West some 100 years ago. In a time of high infant mortality, the Tinsley children all lived to adulthood—a rare occurrence worthy of attention. This event is free and open to the public.
