Call for art announced to exhibit in Library’s Atrium
The Bozeman Public Library Foundation has released its application guidelines to exhibit art in the Library’s Atrium Gallery. The Library promotes the visual and aesthetic enhancement of the Bozeman community through an ongoing process of rotating exhibits of public art.
The Library is committed to exhibitions that expand the public’s appreciation of art, as well as reflect the diversity of the community. The Atrium Gallery showcases traditional and innovative contemporary art forms from both established and emerging artists in the region. Each art exhibition runs approximately 6 to 8 weeks.
The Library Foundation is a 501 c3 nonprofit organization and retains a 30% commission on the art sold in the Library Atrium. These proceeds go back into funding projects and programs at the Bozeman Library.
Artists must submit proposals using the guidelines that can be found on the Library’s website. Submissions are due May 30th, 2020 for the 2021 exhibit year.
Located at 626 E Main, Bozeman Public Library creates opportunities that inspire curiosity, exploration and connection. For more information about other library happenings, please visit www.bozemanlibrary.org. •
