Going out with a vibrant bang, Gallatin Roller Derby hosts its final home bout of the 2023 season with a double-header. Dress in pink and sparkles for Barbie’s Roller Derby Dreambout on Saturday, September 9th at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds’ Haynes Pavilion. Beginning at 5:30pm, Team Montana takes on Happy Valley followed by Barbie vs. Addams Family at 7:30pm.
Wear classic pink, or give Beach Barbie in a Hawaiian shirt, or 80s aerobics Barbie in neon leg warmers! Kens also welcome. Costumed attendees aged 18+ get first crack at limited trackside seating (aka the Danger Zone). This family friendly event features a food truck, no-host bar by the American Legion, raffles, games and prizes.
Tickets for the Barbie Dreambout are $10 in advance at www.grderby.com or $15 at the door. Kids age 10 and under are admitted free. Doors open at 5pm.
A portion of event proceeds will benefit Gallatin Valley Food Bank. The local nonprofit, whose mission is to improve food security throughout Southwest Montana, is the critical link between food and the people who need it.
