A dance workshop focusing on Balboa, a specific style of vintage swing, that originated in the ballrooms of Southern California in the 1930’s and 1940’s. Taught by professional instructors who teach internationally, this weekend workshop features 10 hours of class time with three skill levels, beginner to advanced and three social dances (Friday, Saturday, & Sunday nights) with live music from Cottonwood Club on Saturday. Suitable for all levels of dance and Balboa experience from the complete beginner to the experienced dancer. No partner necessary. To make sure that happens, this weekend will focus on developing strong fundamentals with an emphasis on fun, creative social dancing.
